YouTube Music to label AI-created songs
Original: YouTube Music позначатиме пісні, створені за допомогою штучного інтелекту YouTube Music запроваджує спеціальні позначки
YouTube Music is introducing special labels for tracks whose creation involved generative artificial intelligence. The markers will appear in the YouTube Music app first, with plans to roll them out in the main YouTube application later. The move is part of efforts to make AI involvement in music more transparent for listeners as AI-generated content spreads across streaming platforms.
Why now: Growing concern over AI-generated music and transparency on streaming platforms makes this policy update notable.
