Ukraine says Starshield access greatly restricted
Original: Ukraine says its Starshield access has been greatly restricted
Ukraine says its access to SpaceX's Starshield satellite communications system has been greatly restricted. NPR reported the claim, which raises questions about the reliability of US-backed military communications for Ukrainian forces at a time when they remain heavily dependent on satellite connectivity for battlefield coordination and drone operations.
Why now: Restricted access to a key military satellite network directly affects Ukraine's war effort and fuels concern over US support.
