Original: LAND ROVER DISCOVERY TOW ASSIST TECHNOLOGY IS PROVED ‘IDIOT PROOF’ BY JACK AND MICHAEL WHITEHALL | Discovery Media Newsroom
Land Rover says its Discovery Tow Assist technology has been demonstrated as 'idiot proof' by comedian Jack Whitehall and his father Michael Whitehall. The pair put the trailer-steering assistance system through its paces in a stunt arranged with the brand, with Land Rover publicising the results through its media newsroom. The campaign highlights how the system helps drivers reverse with a trailer by controlling steering automatically.
Why now: The humorous celebrity demonstration of the towing technology is being promoted by Land Rover and drawing attention for its comedy pairing.
