Mamadou Sangare challenges Brentford to aim for top two
Original: Mamadou Sangare challenges Brentford to aim for "top two" Premier League finish
Mamadou Sangare has publicly urged Brentford to target a top-two finish in the Premier League, according to ESPN. The bold declaration is striking for a club that has typically hovered in mid-table since its promotion to the top flight. Fans and pundits are likely to debate whether such ambition is realistic given Brentford's resources and squad depth compared to the league's traditional heavyweights.
Why now: A player setting an unexpectedly ambitious target for a modest club naturally sparks debate among supporters and pundits.
