Zelensky rejects voting for Le Pen over Ukraine aid stance

Original: « Je ne voterai pas pour elle, parce que je suis Ukrainien » : Zelensky renvoie Marine Le Pen à ses lacunes sur la tech

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, asked by the Financial Times about Marine Le Pen's promise to cut French financial aid to Ukraine, replied: "I won't vote for her, because I'm Ukrainian." He also brushed aside criticism by pointing to gaps in the far-right leader's grasp of Kiev's military technology, notably drones. The remarks underscore tensions between Ukraine and parts of the French political right ahead of French elections.

Why now: Zelensky's pointed comments on Le Pen's pledge to halt French aid to Ukraine are circulating amid ongoing debate over Western support for Kiev.
