An artist announced they are joining Portfolio Day at the last minute after recommendations from others, presenting ink illustrations, mixed-media paintings, and cute and satiric cartoon pieces, including self-described anti-Christmas Christmas cards. Portfolio Day is a recurring online event where artists post samples of their work in the hope of attracting commissions, clients, or job offers from studios and publishers.
