Socialist senator Corinne Narassiguin was caught in a shooting while on a ride-along with the BAC anti-crime brigade in Aulnay-sous-Bois, according to Le Parisien. She was taking part in an observation stage as part of training from the National Institute for Higher Studies in Security and Justice. The incident, in a Seine-Saint-Denis suburb, is drawing attention to dangers facing police patrols.
