Original: @ joachim # BDS # justice # solidarity # boycottmicrosoft # tech # bigtech # AI # Azure # cloud # apartheid # microsoft
Activists are calling for a Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions-style campaign against Microsoft, accusing the company of complicity in crimes against humanity through its Azure cloud and AI services linked to Israel's actions in Gaza. Supporters are sharing messages of justice and solidarity and urging others to drop Microsoft's tech products, echoing the wider bigtech boycott movement.
Why now: Renewed scrutiny of Microsoft's cloud and AI contracts with Israel amid the Gaza war has revived BDS-style boycott calls.
