Harry and Meghan launch separate UK public agenda

Original: meghan, duquesa de sussex

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have unveiled a new programme of public engagements in the United Kingdom, carried out independently of the British royal family. Spanish media, including La Vanguardia, are covering the move, which marks a further step in the couple's separate path from the monarchy. The scheduling of their appearances apart from royal events is drawing attention to their ongoing split from the institution.

Why now: The Sussexes' first public agenda in the UK held separately from the royal family is a notable development in their ongoing separation from the monarchy.
