Six Russian Su-34M jets reported destroyed at Borisoglebsk airfield

Ukraine's attack on the Borisoglebsk airfield in Russia reportedly destroyed six Russian Su-34M fighter-bomber jets. The claim circulated among pro-Ukraine commentators celebrating the strike, though no independent confirmation of the aircraft losses is included in the reports. Borisoglebsk, in Voronezh region, has previously been a target of Ukrainian long-range drone strikes on Russian military aviation.
Why now: A claimed major loss of Russian combat aircraft would mark a significant development in the Ukraine war
