A film blogger reviewing Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016) has written that the movie leaves the viewer relieved that both it and its entire series are finally over, framing that as a clear sign of failure. The review, shared with hashtags including AmWatching and SpookySeason, takes a sharply negative view of the sixth instalment in the long-running video game adaptation franchise. No wider reaction has been recorded so far.
Why now: The review offers a pointedly negative verdict on the Resident Evil franchise's conclusion during Halloween-season film viewing.
