Original: ‘Don’t do this!’ Why Paul McCartney cares about looking shorter than John Lennon in Sam Mendes’ Beatles films By Stuart

Paul McCartney has raised objections to Sam Mendes' upcoming Beatles films, reportedly unhappy that a fictional version of him is depicted as marginally shorter than the fictional John Lennon. The Guardian's Stuart Heritage examines the singer's concerns, commenting on the former Beatle's continued attention to how he and his bandmate are portrayed on screen.
