Turkey urges inclusion in Europe's 'Made in Europe' plan
Original: Don't exclude Turkey from 'Made in Europe' plan: minister to AFP
Turkey's economy minister has told AFP that Ankara should not be left out of the EU's 'Made in Europe' initiative, pressing for Turkey to be treated as part of European industrial and supply-chain efforts. The appeal underlines Ankara's close trade and customs union ties with the bloc and its desire for a role in European rearmament and manufacturing plans.
Why now: Turkey is seeking economic and industrial integration with the EU at a time when Europe is pushing to boost its own production.
