Kristi Noem sits down with Benny Johnson
Original: Kristi Noem appears on Benny Johnson show
US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem appeared as a guest on commentator Benny Johnson's show, speaking about the administration's agenda and her department's work. The interview is drawing attention for pairing a sitting cabinet secretary with a prominent pro-Trump online commentator, a choice critics see as bypassing mainstream media while supporters view it as direct outreach to conservative audiences.
Why now: People are reacting to a cabinet secretary choosing a partisan online commentator over mainstream press for an interview.
