Climate Week NYC 2026 to spotlight war and climate links
Original: Climate Week NYC 2026: War and the Climate Crisis Demand International Solidarity From Our Movements
Climate Week NYC 2026 is being framed around the argument that war and the climate crisis are interconnected emergencies demanding international solidarity across social movements. Activists and campaign groups are calling for peace and environmental justice organising to converge, rather than operate separately, as the annual climate gathering approaches in New York City.
Why now: Climate Week NYC 2026 is approaching and organisers are shaping its agenda around linking militarism and climate activism.
