Advocacy Group Rallies Support for Library Funding
Original: Follow us to stand up for libraries, defend the freedom to read, and fight for the funding our communities deserve. # li
EveryLibrary, a US library advocacy organization, is calling on the public to follow its campaigns defending the freedom to read and pushing for better library funding in local communities. The appeal comes as libraries across the country face budget pressures and ongoing challenges to books on their shelves, making librarian-led activism a growing talking point.
Why now: Libraries are facing funding cuts and book challenges, prompting renewed public mobilization in their defense.
