Matt Mullenweg Orders Accessibility Revert, Bans WordPress Committer

Original: Matt Mullenweg Orders Accessibility Revert, Bans Core Wordpress Committer

WordPress co-creator Matt Mullenweg has ordered a revert of accessibility work in the WordPress core and banned a core committer from the project, reportedly telling them to contribute their talents elsewhere. The move has sparked debate in the developer community over project governance, accessibility standards, and how dissenting contributors are treated within the open-source project.

Why now: The unilateral decision by WordPress's leader touches ongoing concerns about governance and inclusivity in the project.
