Trump condemns Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries

Original: Trump calls Ukraine’s renewed strikes on Russian oil refineries ‘a disgrace’

Donald Trump has called Ukraine's renewed strikes on Russian oil refineries 'a disgrace', accusing Volodymyr Zelenskyy of being 'more difficult to deal with than Putin'. His comments came after an informal 'energy ceasefire' between Kyiv and Moscow appeared to collapse, with both sides again targeting energy infrastructure.

Why now: The US president's unusually critical remarks about Ukraine signal growing tension over the war just as a tentative energy truce breaks down.
