White House Ordered Starshield Restrictions, Disrupting Ukrainian Drone Defense

The White House ordered restrictions on the use of SpaceX's Starshield system that have disrupted Ukraine's drone defense operations, according to a Kyiv Post report. The move limits how Ukrainian forces can employ the military-grade satellite network for battlefield connectivity, raising questions about US support for Ukraine's war effort.

Why now: New reporting suggests US policy decisions are directly affecting Ukraine's battlefield capabilities, a sensitive topic amid ongoing debates over American support for Kyiv.
