China has linked all of its major cities with high-speed rail and is testing some of the largest solar and wind farms in the world, according to claims circulating online. The comparison draws a sharp contrast with American news coverage, which it says focuses instead on a wealthy figure's car mishap, mocking differences in media priorities between the two countries.
Why now: People are sharing the contrast between China's infrastructure achievements and what is framed as trivial US news coverage.
