Developer builds siltop to monitor Apple Silicon Macs
Original: Show HN: I got tired of btop not seeing my Mac's chip, so I built siltop
A developer frustrated that btop, a popular system monitor, fails to show Apple Silicon chip details on Macs has released a new tool called siltop. The open-source project is now available on GitHub and aims to display the information btop misses on Apple's chips. Early reactions are coming from people who share the same frustration with monitoring tools on Macs.
Why now: Many Mac users are frustrated that mainstream system monitors do not fully support Apple Silicon hardware.
