Russian forces struck two districts of Kharkiv, injuring civilians including a 13-year-old girl and a boy, according to NV reporting from October 16. The attack is being widely shared online with accusations framing the strikes as war crimes, and some posts claim U.S. funding is indirectly involved through support dynamics in the war.
Why now: A new attack on civilians, including children, in Kharkiv has drawn outrage and fresh debate over Western involvement in the war.
