Original: corse matin
A 12-year-old schoolboy has been taken into custody in Propriano, Corsica, on suspicion of apologie du terrorisme, the French offence of praising terrorism. The case, reported by local outlet Seven Radio, is drawing attention because of the pupil's young age and is being picked up by Corsican morning news coverage, prompting debate online about policing minors.
Why now: The unusually young age of the child arrested in a Corsican town is generating local shock and discussion.
