Gamer admits they no longer care about beating video games
Original: just had a wild thought... i don't care if i beat a video game! https://www. resetera.com/threads/1663525 # gaming # vid
A gamer sparked discussion by admitting a 'wild thought': they no longer care whether they finish or beat the video games they play. The comment, shared in a gaming forum thread, taps into an ongoing debate about burnout, backlog pressure, and whether games need to be completed to be enjoyed. Many players report similar feelings as they age, valuing the experience over completion.
Why now: It resonates with a widespread shift among players away from completionism and toward playing for enjoyment.
