Ex-CIA Officer Larry Johnson Accuses UN of Biased Russia Coverage
Original: 'False Accusations & Biased Reports…': Ex CIA Officer Larry Johnson Calls Out UN Coverage on Russia
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson has publicly accused the United Nations of making false accusations and producing biased reporting in its coverage of Russia, according to remarks reported by NDTV World. Johnson, a frequent critic of Western foreign policy, argues that UN statements on Russia reflect political bias rather than neutral fact-finding. His comments have drawn wide attention online, with reactions split between supporters who share his criticism of the UN and others who dispute his characterisation of its reporting.
Why now: Debate over whether the UN's coverage of Russia is fair remains highly contested amid ongoing coverage of the Ukraine war.
