Drones hit St Petersburg oil terminals and data centre

Original: sankt petersburg

Multiple drone attacks struck St Petersburg, hitting oil terminals, a VK data centre and a bridge, while Russian marketplace Ozon reported an attack on one of its warehouses in the city. Air traffic in parts of Russia was halted during the incidents. Ukraine has not been confirmed as responsible, but the strikes mark a rare direct hit on Russia's second-largest city.

Why now: The attacks are notable because St Petersburg is far from the front lines and rarely targeted directly.
