Plimmer and Green set record T20I stand against Australia
Original: Highest T20I partnership for New Zealand women against Australia: 127* Plimmer & Green at North Sydney, 2026 118* Bates
New Zealand's Georgia Plimmer and Green have posted the highest women's T20 International partnership by a New Zealand pair against Australia, an unbeaten 127 at North Sydney Oval. The unbeaten stand surpasses the previous best of 118 by Suzie Bates and Amelia Watkins at Taunton in 2009, with Bates and Sophie Devine-style pairs also on the all-time list after the 101 stand in Melbourne in 2013.
Why now: A record-breaking batting partnership in a trans-Tasman women's T20I is drawing attention from cricket fans.
