Fantasy Band Poll Pits Legendary Guitarists Against Each Other

Original: I’d like to invite you to vote in our Fantasy Band Poll Guitarists: Group 2 (of 32) lan Bairnson Martin Barre Stevie Ray

A music community is running a 'Fantasy Band' poll asking voters to pick their favourite guitarists, with Group 2 of 32 featuring Ian Bairnson, Martin Barre and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Participants are told the fantasy band would cover songs from across the music spectrum, so votes should weigh versatility as well as skill. The tournament-style format invites fans to debate the merits of rock, blues and session guitarists round by round.

Why now: Fans enjoy debating and voting on which guitarists deserve a place in a hypothetical dream band.
