GOP Rep. Don Bacon Declares Trump Agenda 'Dead'

Original: GOP Rep. Pronounces Trump Agenda 'Dead': 'He Is Propping Up A Dictator's Invasion'

Republican Representative Don Bacon of Nebraska said on Saturday that President Trump's agenda is effectively dead within Congress, accusing the president of propping up a dictator's invasion. He predicted many fellow Republican lawmakers will no longer back the administration's legislative priorities, a striking public break from a sitting member of the president's own party.

Why now: A senior Republican openly declaring the president's agenda dead signals widening rifts inside the GOP.
