Ridley Scott's $350M Alien sequel plans resurface

Original: ridley scott

Ridley Scott is back in the conversation on two fronts. A star has addressed the filmmaker's reported $350 million plans for a new Alien sequel, revamping speculation about the franchise's future. At the same time, 'The Terror: Devil in Silver', a series he produces, premieres October 19 on AMC+, with Spanish press describing a hospital turned purgatory blending the supernatural with viewers' recurring nightmares. Another Scott-linked film also reportedly hides a secret sequel arriving in November within a well-known saga.

Why now: News about a costly Alien sequel and the premiere of his new series have put the director back in the spotlight.
