Bears' Hallmark holiday movie draws winners and losers
Original: 6 winners (and 2 losers) from Bears' Holiday Touchdown Hallmark movie
The Chicago Bears are the focus of a Hallmark holiday film, and coverage is already grading which parts of the franchise and fan experience came off well and which did not. Commentators list six winners, including figures and storylines boosted by the team's Hollywood spotlight, alongside two losers who fared worse from the portrayal.
Why now: The release of a Hallmark Christmas movie centred on the Bears is giving fans and writers fresh material to debate how the team is portrayed.
