Pistorius criticises end of Bundeswehr cooperation in Berlin

Original: # news ⚡ Pistorius kritisiert Ende der Bundeswehr-Kooperation in Berlin: Bundesverteidigungsminister Boris Pistorius (SP

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius (SPD) has criticised a plan by the Left, Greens and SPD in Berlin to end the cooperation between the Bundeswehr and Berlin's authorities. The dispute highlights tensions within left-leaning parties over ties to the German military, with Pistorius, himself a Social Democrat, openly opposing his party's Berlin branch on the issue.

Why now: A senior SPD minister is publicly clashing with his own party's Berlin leadership over military cooperation, making it a notable intra-party conflict.
