Gamers revisit Skyrim and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

Original: This week's random # fantasy things: Totally drawn back into # Skyrim again! Also on fantasy+horror side, finished (re)p

A fantasy and sci-fi fan reports being drawn back into Skyrim, replaying it once again years after release. Alongside that, they finished replaying The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, the atmospheric horror exploration game, this time on PC after first playing it on Xbox long ago. The post reflects the enduring pull of older fantasy and horror titles that players keep returning to rather than moving on to new releases.

Why now: Players are sharing nostalgic replays of beloved older games, a common topic in gaming communities.
