Commenter warns of new Kristallnacht scenario in EU politics
Original: # News # EU The new # Kristallnacht scenario is hapening right now with # ElonMusk # Russia and # ExtremRight propaganda
A comment circulating on Mastodon claims that a scenario resembling Kristallnacht is unfolding in Europe, blaming Elon Musk, Russia and far-right propaganda machines for spreading fearmongering images and posts across social media. The claim equates current extremist online campaigns with the 1938 Nazi pogrom, a comparison likely to be strongly contested by historians and politicians alike.
Why now: The inflammatory comparison between current far-right propaganda in Europe and the Nazi-era Kristallnacht pogrom is striking and provocative, drawing attention.
