Original: McLaren to sell five F1 cars, all driven by champions and one by Brad Pitt
McLaren is putting five Formula 1 cars up for sale, all previously driven by world champions, including one used in the filming of the Brad Pitt racing movie. The sale draws attention because the cars combine genuine grand prix pedigree with celebrity provenance, making them rare collector pieces and prompting interest from motorsport fans and wealthy collectors alike.
Why now: The rare combination of championship-winning F1 machinery and Hollywood celebrity provenance makes the sale highly newsworthy for collectors and fans.
