Analog Photographers Share Black-and-White Lighthouse Shots for Silent Sunday
Original: #silentSunday #lighthouse 🖤 Shot on: • Lomo Smena-8M (USSR, 1987) • Watameter Super Rangefinder (Germany, 1954) • Kodak
Photographers are marking the weekly Silent Sunday tradition with black-and-white lighthouse images captured on vintage film gear, including a 1987 Soviet-made Lomo Smena-8M and a 1954 German Watameter Super Rangefinder. One image was shot on Kodak Eastman Double-X cinema film, pushed from its 250 rating to 400 and developed accordingly. The posts highlight a continuing enthusiasm for analog photography and old cameras.
Why now: The weekly Silent Sunday hashtag tradition draws film photography enthusiasts to share new work each Sunday.
