Original: Rabbis for Human Rights file complaint against alleged Jewish olive theft
Rabbis for Human Rights, an Israeli organisation, has filed a complaint alleging that Jewish individuals stole olives, reportedly from Palestinian farmers during the harvest season in the West Bank. The group, which documents settler violence and protects Palestinian harvesters, says the theft is part of a wider pattern of harassment during the annual olive harvest, a key source of income for Palestinian families.
Why now: The complaint draws attention to recurring tensions and violence around the Palestinian olive harvest season.
