3Blue1Brown says there's never been a better time to study math
Original: There's never been a better time to go into math (by: 3blue1brown) [video]
Grant Sanderson, the mathematician behind the popular education channel 3Blue1Brown, has published a new video arguing that this is an unusually good moment to pursue mathematics. The argument taps into the current boom in mathematical tools like machine learning, which has renewed public interest in math careers and education.
Why now: Growing interest in mathematics driven by AI and machine learning, plus the channel's large following, has drawn attention to the video's claim.
