Original: Note, talking one of the city employees I know who is helping with climate/electrification, beware the Whirlpool Front L
A city employee working on climate and home electrification is warning about Whirlpool's front-load hybrid heat-pump dryer, citing design problems with its lint filtration. The machine reportedly has two separate lint filters that must be cleaned, and lint issues beyond that, raising concerns about reliability and maintenance for households switching to heat-pump dryers as part of electrification efforts.
Why now: Heat-pump dryers are being promoted for home electrification, so reported design flaws in a leading model are drawing attention.
