Bremer hits back at Spalletti's Juventus criticism
Original: bremer
Italy coach Luciano Spalletti called Juventus 'inferior' and said their 0-3 defeat to Lazio was hard to explain, accusing some young players of falling 'at the first shoulder charge'. Defender Gleison Bremer responded sharply, saying Spalletti was talking about himself and criticising players who hide or show fear at the first whistles, fuelling a heated debate in the Italian press.
Why now: A public spat between the Italy coach and Juventus's Bremer after a heavy defeat is dominating Italian football coverage.
