Andy Burnham targets 'headphone dodgers' on public transport

Original: Andy Burnham launches campaign against ‘headphone dodgers’ on public transport

Andy Burnham has launched a campaign calling out 'headphone dodgers' – people who play music or videos loudly without headphones on public transport. The Greater Manchester mayor's initiative urges passengers to be considerate of fellow travellers. The campaign is drawing attention to everyday etiquette on buses and trains and has sparked wider conversation about shared-space behaviour.

Why now: The novelty of a prominent mayor campaigning on public transport etiquette is prompting discussion and debate.
