Ukraine Targets Russian Bot Farm, Online MAGA Activity Drops
Original: Ukraine STRIKES Russian Bot Farm... MAGA Trolls Suddenly DISAPPEAR
Ukraine says it has struck a Russian bot farm operation, and observers report a sudden drop in activity from pro-MAGA troll accounts online. The claim suggests the accounts pushing talking points in American political debates were part of a coordinated Russian influence network. Commentators are pointing to the disappearance of these voices as evidence of how much of that traffic was artificially generated.
Why now: The claimed link between a Ukrainian strike on Russian disinformation infrastructure and a visible drop in pro-Trump troll activity is striking and politically charged.
