Major Carbon Emitters Barely Mention Health in Climate Plans
Original: # health Most Major Carbon Emitters Barely Mention Health in Their Climate Plans https:// healthpolicy-watch.news/major-
A new report covered by Health Policy Watch finds that most of the world's major carbon-emitting countries make little or no reference to health in their national climate plans. The finding points to a gap between the well-documented health impacts of climate change and the policy commitments meant to address them, prompting concern among health and climate advocates.
Why now: Attention on the health consequences of climate change is growing, and the report highlights how far national climate policies lag behind that evidence.
