Starcraft: Ashfall project draws attention

Original: Starcraft: Ashfall

A new project called Starcraft: Ashfall, presented via a standalone website, is gaining traction online. The name suggests a shooter set in the StarCraft universe, slated for 2026, though no official details about its developer, scope, or licensing have been confirmed. Readers are sharing the link and speculating about what the project actually is.

Why now: Any new project using the StarCraft name draws interest from fans of the long-dormant franchise, especially one that appears to be a different genre.
