Google folds Spark AI agent into Gemini chat
Original: gemini
Google has integrated its Spark AI agent directly into the main Gemini chat, meaning users can now access the agent without switching to a separate app or interface. Spark is designed to help with everyday tasks inside the conversation, and the move signals Google's push to consolidate its AI tools into a single assistant as competition with ChatGPT and other chatbots intensifies.
Why now: Google has just rolled out the Spark agent into its flagship Gemini chatbot, prompting discussion of what the integration means for users.
