Ben Simmons returning to NBA with Kings on one-year deal
Original: Ben Simmons returning to NBA on 1-year, $3.5M deal with Kings
Ben Simmons is returning to the NBA, agreeing to a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Sacramento Kings. The former All-Star and No. 1 draft pick had been out of the league, and the low-cost deal gives Sacramento a low-risk addition as he attempts to revive his career.
Why now: A former No. 1 pick and All-Star making an NBA comeback on a modest deal is notable offseason news.
