Viking is holding a combined rollout ceremony for seven new ships, each christened by a different travel advisor serving as godparent, an unusual honor normally given to celebrities or dignitaries. The move underscores the cruise line's close ties to the travel agent community, and industry coverage is highlighting the event as a notable gesture of appreciation toward advisors.
