Ukraine says no partners warned it before Kyiv missile barrage

Ukraine says it received no advance warning from Western partners before Russia fired 16 ballistic missiles at Kyiv and the surrounding region. The claim is drawing attention to intelligence-sharing arrangements with allies, including the United States, and raising questions about whether warnings to Moscow are being withheld amid strained ties between Kyiv and Washington.
Why now: The barrage and the claim of no warning highlight growing friction over Western intelligence support for Ukraine.
