The BBC has denied reports that comedian James Acaster filed a complaint about the behaviour of fellow comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan during filming of 'The Celebrity Traitors'. The broadcaster moved quickly to shut down the story, which circulated as the celebrity edition of the popular game show draws heavy attention. No complaint from Acaster, who appears on the show, is understood to exist.

Why now: Rumours of on-set friction among big-name comedians on the high-profile show prompted the BBC to publicly respond.
