German comedy 'Der perfekte Urlaub' splits critics

Original: der perfekte urlaub kino

The German comedy 'Der perfekte Urlaub', shot on Mallorca and starring Frederick Lau and Diana Amft, is drawing attention in early 2026. An NDR review calls it a 'humorous indictment' of mainstream comedy, while Kino.de reports a German sequel climbing to the top of 2026 box office charts. The cast spoke openly about filming on Mallorca.

Why now: The film's Mallorca setting, star cast and sharply divided reviews have made it a talking point in German entertainment coverage.
